Hope & Relief

Two elements that are crucial in the fight against breast cancer.

Since 2001, Hope Chest has distributed over $2.5 million financial assistance grants to over 6,000 Minnesota breast cancer patients and their families. Each grant represents hope and relief, two elements that are crucial in the fight against cancer. Hope Chest grants have paid rent and mortgages. They’ve covered car payments, utility bills, daycare costs and provided nutrition.

We hope that someday our services aren’t needed, because there will be a cure. Until then, we are here to help ease the daily burdens of breast cancer treatment.

  • What to Expect

Here’s how the grant process works:

Step 1: Complete the online grant application.
Step 2: Your medical provider will verify your application
Step 3: Hope Chest reviews the verified application
Step 4: You’ll be notified (via email) whether or not you’ve been approved
Step 5: If you have been approved, funds will be sent directly to the need (e.g. your landlord, your utility provider, etc.).
