Hope Chest for Breast Cancer Foundation is an organization that is making a difference in the lives of local breast cancer patients and the community of Minnesota. Today, Hope Chest has grown from Barbara Hensley’s dream into an impactful, multifaceted organization with a passionate, skilled staff and a dedicated Board of Directors. Our Orono office is a casual, yet professional environment. In our team setting, we value a pitch-in spirit to get the job done. We are as committed as ever to the cause, because we believe that no family should face financial ruin while they fight cancer.
We are currently seeking candidates to help us further our mission. If you have an interest in joining our team, please send your resume & cover letter, including salary requirements, to email@example.com.
Donor Development Manager
Reporting to and in partnership with the Executive Director (ED), the Donor Development Manager will spearhead development efforts as Hope Chest for Breast Cancer Foundation continues to grow. A new position in the organization, the Director will have the opportunity to build the development function. Primary responsibilities include procuring major gifts and driving the HCBCF annual giving programs and funding appeals. This position will work independently, closely with board members, the community, healthcare partners and others to identify and qualify new prospects, and actively cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift donors and a broad base of annual individual donors. Working with Executive leadership and the board, they will lead development and execution for a new planned giving strategy.
Office Manager and Patient Grants Administrator (Part-time)
As our patient grant administrator, you play a central role in our mission, liaising between patients seeking grants, partners in the medical community, the service providers we make payments to on their behalf and Hope Chest for Breast Cancer. Working with our leadership team, you will process grants, maintain records, and build relationships with partners and patients. Additionally, you will make and maintain records for donor deposits, process and distribute donor confirmation and recognition communications. You will also have responsibility for managing the day to day aspects of office operations and coordination.
